This time last year I was visiting Auckland, I can hardly believe it! I miss it there a lot, so I'm going to post some pictures from my both of my trips there in memory.

They all got a bit out of order when I put them on but it's very easy to figure out when they're from - the pictures where I have blonde hair are from my July 2010 trip and the pictures with my brown hair are the January 2011 trip! I miss this so much, easily the best time of my life. I hope you all enjoyed them, and if not I apologize for my reminiscing!

Hi guys!

Sorry I've been AWOL lately, things got a little crazy with school and then it was Christmas and New Years, so I haven't really gotten a chance to do anything involving blogging or fashion or anything! 

So here's a picture of a dress I got from H&M for $5 on Black Friday! I was so pleased when I bought it, it fits a little odd but if I wear a belt around the waist then it looks great! 

And here's me, just for fun! 

I promise I'll get some legitimate pictures up soon with some actual outfits and such.

I hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Year's... I might make a post on my New Year's resolutions once I think of some! What are your resolutions??

Miss Unkon Autumn/Winter 2011

I haven't been able to do an outfit post lately because I haven't really been home, and the weather has been really crappy to wear anything nice. But instead for today, I'm going to show some of my favorites from Miss Unkon Autumn/Winter 2011's "Storybook Love". I absolutely love looking at these - the Spring/Summer 2011 was just as beautiful as this one, but in a completely different way.

I absolutely am loving this collection. The soft, muted tones are all so beautiful and are perfect to me, because I'm not a huge fan of bright colors. The cut out shoulder tops are so lovely, I would love to have one (or more) of them in my closet. All the shoes and boots are very appealing to me as well, they're the perfect combination of edgy with a feminine touch, which I love. I also adore the photography and the "storyline" that they put into this - I feel that it really adds to the whole thing and makes it so fun and really artistic and gorgeous.  I just adore everything about it, if we're being honest!

Virgin Mobile Freefest!

Yesterday I went to Freefest at Merriweather Post Pavillion with my boyfriend and some other friends, and it was awesome! My favorites were Cee Lo Green, TV on the Radio, what little I saw of The Black Keys, and the little I saw of Grace Potter. I have to say, Deadmau5 isn't really my kind of music, but it was a lot of fun dancing and being in the crowd during it. TV on the Radio was amazing though, I missed the beginning of their performance and I wish I hadn't. I also wish I could've seen more of The Black Keys, but the boys really wanted to go see Deadmau5, so I just went along with it.
It was really hot there in the beginning, and I've never been to a music festival so I wasn't quite dressed appropriately, so I felt a little odd and very hot. But it cooled down in the evening and felt great, so it turned out okay in the end. It was also VERY muddy in the field, but it was kind of exciting getting your feet suctioned into it. All in all, it was a lot of fun, and I had such a great weekend because of all of it.

I'm on such a concert trip right now though, all I want to do is go to another one now.

One day I am gonna grow wings

Today my classes were cancelled, and the daycare I work at was closed due to all the flooding in the area. Needless to say, I've been laying around all day, soaking in this time to relax! I've been watching a ridiculous amount of Law & Order: SVU with some Skins generation 2 thrown in there too. Law & Order has become a bit of an obsession for me ever since I found it on Netflix Watch Instantly. I've left my basement so far for food, and that's it.

But since I obviously will not be having any sort of outfit posts for today, I thought I'd show you a picture of my tattoo I got a few weeks ago!

This is a quote from Let Down by Radiohead, my favorite song. It's my first tattoo, but certainly not my last. It reminds me that you can overcome being let down and being disappointed by someone, even when it's someone you love and trust more than anything.

I'm not very good at introductions, but I'll do my best!

I've been reading blogs for a long time now, and I've become more and more interested in trying it out as time has gone on. So here I am, actually determined to try it this time! You'll learn more about me as I post more, so I'm not going to talk about myself too much. This will mostly be about my interest in fashion (which I'm still a rookie at, so cut me a little slack for now ^_^) but I'll also write about other interests, or I might just ramble too.
